Bound by Legacy
Alicia Klein y García de Aráoz was one of the pioneers of women's sport in Spain. The Countess of Villapadierna was a fun, sportive and indispensable woman at the end of the fifties and during the mad sixties on the Costa del Sol. In 1968, she won the Spanish Doubles Championship at Club de Golf Guadalmina. Apart from her love for golf, she adored fishing and horse riding, a passion she shared with her husband José María, Count of Villapadierna, whose stables were among the best in Spain.
